"No one VS Everyone" From the album: In-between Sex & Drugs Words: Thompson Music: Thompson/Gonzales No one important I think to myself Another face in another place Longing to be seen or recognized The system of thought we live in... Individuals who all are taught is Care for yourself & watch your own back Watch your own back... No one VS Everyone No one VS Everyone Not a bad motto except no one's alone And people being people are still living Once someone's crossed or stabbed in the back Once someone trips or falls through this life It’s their own problem to help themselves No one VS Everyone No one VS Everyone After all we are persons Collected individuals Known merely as people We could never be more alike in anyway Or anymore inclined to help those we could Or can anymore then they could help themselves And No one VS Everyone Had they truly wanted too People are selfish and no one cares to be selfless To be remembered as conceited Or as a connoisseur Or giving and quaint ...Who wants to be quaint?

Media Age 02:38
Media Age From the Album: In-between Sex & Drugs Music & Words: Thompson  "Hey man have you seen the remote? "I wanna change the channel"  Hear the preachin' on TV tellin' me what's right or gay Blasphemy is all I see-see-see Eating away at integrity With its mind rotting simplicity "Oi -vey" A Shallow game for shallow minds Hefty fines for hefty behinds Fill the troughs and see them drop Brainless crap is the slop This is the media age This is the media age This is the media age "For more tune in at 7" Sell me something really cool To make the little girlies drool  In the media age - yeah Hear the preachin' on TV Tellin’ me what's right or gay Blasphemy is all I see-see-see Eating away at integrity With its mind rotting simplicity Shallow games for shallow minds Suspenseful music plays To an ordinary scene The script is only written after the play While the main characters try to stay .... In their character... White noise & silence No one knows their part Everything is as is Hear the preachin' on TV Tellin' me what's right or gay Blasphemy is all I see Eating away at integrity Hefty fines for hefty behinds Fill the troughs and see them drop Brainless crap is the slop In this media age This is the media age "New chips that eat themselves"

Look the Devil in the face Album: In-between Sex & Drugs [2007] Music & Words: Thompson You gotta look the Devil in the face And grab him by those horns Put him in a headlock And make him do your bidding -yeah Walk down the dark path Use the moonlight to step On and on into the night To step on and on into the night Fear is nothing without itself Nothing but itself And we are nothing We are nothing But something full of nothing The games we pleasure Defiantly standing in place Like a statue frozen And there's nothing we can do I'll just keep on walking through and through And I'll just keep on walking Through and through... -W

LIFE WITHOUT SLEEP ALBUM: IN-BETWEEN SEX & DRUGS [2007] MUSIC/WORDS: THOMPSON   One day closer to farther away Five more steps towards my goals An arm’s reach from my life Once again stepping in the light The lights on a few blocks down Wonder if they could use some company? Time stampeding on as I get carried away... One vice at a time The water is a bit deep And I'm a bit tired Of moving on this time I'll swim for a while Till either I reach my destination Or just get tired and drown... Whatever the outcome I keep going on... For sheer stubbornness of the start to finish Nature of this game of life "Start to finish" So I just keep going on "Start to finish" In this game of life... -W

FOR YOU [Reprise] ALBUM: IN-BETWEEN SEX & DRUGS [2007] MUSIC/WORDS: THOMPSON   Hey there, How are you? Feeling today seems to only go away And we're left with thoughts unheard And we're left faces unread Like a dusty old novel That no one thinks is interesting enough to read And how are you feeling today? What about the things that go away? Like a dusty old novel That no one cares to read And this is for you And you are just for this Like the song of the morning bird Everyone hears its song But no one understands the words it sings But they can't help but hum along And how are you feeling today? What about the things that go away? And this is for you And you are just for this And you are just for this And this is just for you Like a dusty old novel That due to its collective dust Remains on the shelf That no one takes the time... The time passes me by Like another single day... How are you feeling today? What about the things that go away? And we're left with things unread And we're left with things unsaid And we're left with things unread And we're left with thoughts lack of... -W   www.fuckthemainstreamrecords.com     *I consider this to be the worst version of this song I've ever recorded.

Blind sight 04:03
BLIND SIGHT  ALBUM: IN-BETWEEN SEX & DRUGS [2007]  MUSIC/WORDS: THOMPSON   Don't tell me that it's over When we've barely just begun Remember when I'd walk you home And call you from the pay phone We sung out all the songs we loved We talked of many a drugs Oh and how I loved those hugs More then any of the drugs...   A drink and a smoke Shared time after time We played out all the games we loved And passed out on many a drugs   Then life stepped in and tore us apart But nothing can keep us apart And we are never apart You're always there in my...   Don't tell me that it's over When we've barely just begun Remember all the games we'd play Remember all the things we'd say And then once you had to leave That one day you'd come back for me One day you did just that And you did just that And I knew that you still loved me And I knew that I still loved you And I knew that there was nothing that I could...   But once again life stepped in Pushing us farther apart The miles grow longer, just as the days But nothing will keep us away...   I don't want it to end like this No please don't let it end like this I don't want it to end like this No please don't let it end like this....   But what I'm trying to say Is that there's no other way To make things right Then to just play with blind sight... -W

Never Any Easier Music/Words: Thompson From the Album: In-Between Sex & Drugs [2007] It wasn't easy to say but I did it anyway the words are true just as my love for you Think what you will Say what you want but I'm holding on to doubt But I didn't mean to make you cry No I didn't mean to make you cry See I'm not that kind of guy Just want to be the guy in your life It wasn't easy to say but I did it anyway the words are true just as my love for you And I sayyyyy na-da-da-da-um It wasn't easy to say but I did it anyway and my words are true just as my love for you la-da-dada la-da-dada la-da-dada-ah Angelic choirs of lost souls Sing in harmonious monotone The Gates are open We've turned our backs Now baby there's no turning back Now there's no turning back There's no turning back not for me chika-chika-ahh-ahh chika-chika-ahh-ahh chika-chika-ahh-ahh

FOOL & BITCH From the album: In-Between Sex & Drugs Music/Words: Thompson And I'm a fool & you're a bitch And I'm a fool & you're a bitch I'm a fool - for you And you're just a bitch to me And I'm just a just a fool And you're just a goddamn bitch to me And Cupid struck us with that bullshit arrow And it broke off inside and made us feel a bit bitter And the feeling later became bittersweet And We feel in love with this bittersweet Such a bittersweet - affair And doesn't it sound like the work of destiny And a deed unto the fates And all I can say And all I can say is... I'm a fool & you're a bitch I'm a fool & you're a goddamn bitch And I'm just a fool - for you And you're just a bitch to me... Man with No Home From the album” In-Between Sex & Drugs [2007] Music/Words: Thompson As I look out to the highway I see everyone going their own way I can't help but want to do the same...... The man with no home Is forever destined to roam And the man with no heart Is doomed to - fall apart Duct tape and scotch tape Only to hold this man together Looking at the highway Seeing everyone go their own way I can't help but want to do the same No I can't help but want the same But the man with no home Is forever destined to roam And the Man with no heart Is forever destined to fall apart Bu-da-da-da-da-da-um-um-da-yea Just keep on walking Keep on walking And all the roads I would walk down I'm not allowed to walk down They say I have to buy gasoline To make it anywhere... But I just don't feel the world's a little race To see how many days I can pass by Lets see if I can get by Cux I know we once lived without all these roads And I know we made it here No one world regulations No one will simply live Love the best part of me We have to love, Learn to be on our own... www.fuckthemainstreamrecords.com

about

After the conclusion of the long unreleased Experimental Acoustic trilogy of Chainsaw Synphany, I found myself wanting to do two main things. Continue making experimental acoustic records & steer the Synphany back toward its industrial electronic roots. These concerns were tossed around for a few months. The final decision to continue making acoustic songs under the Wil.T moniker came a little more then half way through the recording process. An early version of the album going under the Synphany brand was recently discovered featuring alternate mixes & songs not included in the final draft. This album is the direct product of being homeless on & off for over a year and half. Working & living on a ranch just outside Goliad, Tx on the San Antonio River for a few months with no car, only booze, a guitar, and time. It was finished when the job ended and after couch surfing for a bit, I made the decision to return to school. It was completed and released on CD-R's wrapped in folded white typing paper with crude track listings. It was passed around the college campus & left lying around in open areas with instructions to bootleg. An original run of about 10 were made and distributed. It has since been sitting in the "vault" collecting dust till it was dusted off, remastered, & given fresh album art. The lyrics have been compiled as well. This album also marks the birth of a new acoustic trilogy "the Dark Ages" which encompasses this ablum, 2010's "So Gone, I'm here" & 2013's "Echoes in the dark".

about

Wil.T College Station, Texas

“One day I picked up my friend's right handed guitar - I was broke & left handed - so I just learned to play it upside down. Now I make "music" , put out these limited release records & have even been known to play the occasional open mic nite. I'm a cartoonist. I make art – that's what I do . When I release an album it's everything, a story, a work of art, & a metaphorical documentary of my psych ... more
